The Dusun Part 3

I kaputed after my jungle trekking experience. But my day wasn't that bad after all!!

Pwetty me attracted a suitor, Tan.

Look at how hard he tried to impress me!

Meh, I wasn't impressed.
Neither were mommy and daddy, they said they will find me a nice bf one day when I am older, but I'm just not interested in boys. Ewww... they have kuuties.

Mommy and daddy were planning to have a barbecue dinner and mommy had marinated a lot of meat for the BBQ. However it started to rain heavily in the afternoon and they were worried that their plans would be spoilt. Luckily the rain stopped in time so the workers from The Dusun could come to our deck and start our charcoal barbecue pit.

Mommy and daddy said the food they barbecued were the best they ever had!

I SOOO agree!! I was given half of everything daddy ate.
BBQ butter fish, BBQ autralian steak, BBQ NZ lamb, BBQ beef patty, BBQ chicken patty...
Daddy is DA BEST!

Ok... Mommy too because she is a vegetarian.

What a GREAT ending to the day. Can we go back to Dusun again for the BBQ?

The Dusun Part 2

Daddy & mommy went jungle hiking on our second day at The Dusun. They decided to bring me along for the hike as I would enjoy it.

So off we went with out guide Akal who is an orang asli (aboriginal people).

The road leading to the jungle.

This is where Akal was bringing us too.

The rainforest was dense and the trail was kinda overgrown with plans as not may people went hiking there. Akal said the last time he brought people up to hike was one week ago. Thus Akal had to use his parang to chop of the plants that were blocking the path on our one hour hike.

As it has been raining the past few days, we were invariably met by a lot of slimy little vampires called LEECHES on our rainforest walk. Ugh......

Both daddy and mommy didn't think that there would be leeches when they brought me along the hike. They TOTALLY forgot about the existence of leeches.

How could Mommy forget! She went for a week long holiday camp around this area when she was 15 years old and was eaten alive by the leeches!!

Whatdaya mean was I attached by leeches?!?
Of course I was attacked by leeches:-(   Poor Chili

How can mommy smile in this picture too. Look at mah
paws!! Sadsomes Chili... Me wanna go home...

The humans decided they should wash my feet in the
river, oh............... this is the worst day of my life!
 I hate water

This is what daddy describes as mommy's evil grin

The humans felt soooo bad for me as I had more than 6 leech bites that they decided to carry my back instead of letting me hike back.

Well, daddy did the carrying while mommy carried the camera as you can see here.

Even though I enjoyed the piggyback ride, boy was I glad to get back to the hotel.

Yes daddy was born in the year of the pig (^.^)

The Dusun Part 1

Mommy, Daddy & I went to Dusun for a holiday. Mommy thought it would be great that they could go on a holiday and have me join the family holiday as well.

On that fateful day, mommy packed us all into the car and after a 1 hour drive this is what we arrived to.

Taking a stroll in the country side with mommy & daddy.

Cee and Haanim made the best-est aubergine pasta for mommy & daddy. They were so greedy they finished the whole big pot and didn't leave any for me nor did they take any photos to share. And yes they did not share any with me either :-(
